Your first step to Happiness, Feellings! ^.^

Feelings! (negative and positive)

Feelings are a very important part to our daily lives. Now a days, many people do not find it okay to feel the negative feelings that are a regular part of being a human! We all like to push the negative feelings and thoughts away and ignore them. Never fulling embracing those feelings and so in return they like to come back to us subconsciously and mess with our lives. It is very hard to deal with the negative though when SO many people are pushing negative is bad and we should always be happy into your face!

Now, of course it would be wonderful to be happy all the time! However, you can not be happy all the time is you are hiding negative feelings down in your soul. You need to embrace those negative feelings in order to let them go! Write down some of the negative thoughts and feelings that you tell yourself and change them in to positive statements! Then tell yourself these positive statements every day! Remember, all the negative thoughts you feel about yourself are not true! It is just feelings you’ve repressed because at ONE point it might been almost correct (ie. someone called you dumb, you had a bad experience with a bf, etc.).

To get you started I am going to write out a few of my negative thoughts and change them into positive thoughts to tell myself every day!

Andi’s Negative Thoughts and Feelings!:
-> I am not good enough for anyone to care about.
-> I am ugly, and too fat.
-> I will never find a job I like.
-> I am not good enough for anyone, and will never find love.

now, I need to tell myself positive things!

Andi’s Positive Thoughts and Feelings!:
-> I am a great person, my family and friends love me!
-> I am pretty, and people think I am too!
-> I will find a job i love! Right now is just the transition!
-> I am good enough, if i can’t find a guy who loves me for me he just isn’t the one for me!

You see!? Even now I gave my positive thoughts a “!” and all my negative thoughts got the “.” You need to keep your mind open and know that your brain is coming up with these negative things to stop you! It doesn’t want you happy! You need to embrace the sadness and then let it flow out from you!

What I want you to do!
Join me in my search for happiness! For the next 30 days I want you to write any negative thought or feeling you think of and replace it with a happy, truthful, positive feeling. Then I want you to DANCE! (bare with me and remember for the next 30 days i’ll be doing all this too)
I want you to dance, even if that is just at home with your lights off and your favorite song on. While you dance, FEEL! feel the good, feel the bad. Let it all flow through you!

After you dance, meditate. Put on some calming, instrumental music. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth! Tell yourself all the positive feelings that you felt while dancing. Tell yourself all the positive thoughts you made in place of your negative thoughts! Just sit there still and give yourself happiness! =D

Then if you are up to it comment on this post about the feelings (negative and positive that you felt while doing your dancing and meditation) that you felt and how it is helping you find happiness! I want to know how happy you are! =D
